FUNCTIONAL PILLARS

FASCIA

A super highway of connectivity encasing skin, nerves, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, and internal organs. This highly innervated material is an incredible asset to the body. It aides and facilitates in efficient functional movement and flow throughout the body. Yet if damaged, it will act as an Alarm System, alarming the body of dysfunction and inhibition via pain perception signaling. The fascia will also coordinate in a specific systematic shut down of movement as a proactive mechanism to limit possible further injury to the areas involved.

MUSCLE

The display system of the body carrying an immense amount of information into your functional health. Muscles play an interconnected role between the fascia and bone and will systematically inhibit or activate according to ones functional state. The muscles are largely dependent on the function of the fascial system for feedback and movement.

ALIGNMENT

Your foundation for structural integrity, relying heavily on the feedback received from the fascia and muscular system. Bone works as an anchoring system moving on cue with the fascia and muscle to keep the body moving and flowing efficiently.

STRENGTH

The body will do what’s necessary to move forward. Sometimes this means inefficient motor patterns to get you from point A to B. Once correction is re-established and the efficient motor pattern is in place, Strengthening of the aligned neural, fascial, and muscular pathway must be reinforced.

FLOW PHILOSOPHY

Bone is foundational for structure in MVMT. Muscle controls the MVMT of Bone. Fascia effects the MVMT of Muscle and Bone. Thus for efficient functional MVMT to be established, it must FLOW through this treatment sequence:

FASCIA. MUSCLE. ALIGNMENT. STRENGTH.

FLOW MISSION

Restoring optimal function through our FLOW MVMT System™, by integrating world class techniques, state-of-the-art technology, and intentional quality of care.

LIVE. FEEL. MOVE. BETTER.
